Summer Food

Note: These foods are not for everyone. They are strictly for individuals who have been specifically recommended them by Dheeraj Sir.

If you prefer to eat roti instead of rice during summer, here’s a nutritious flour mix you can use:

Summer Flour Ingredients (गर्मियों के आटे की सामग्री):

1. Wheat (गेहूं) – 300g
2. Desi Black Chickpea (देसी कला चना) – 100g
3. Barley (जौ) – 100g
4. Sorghum (ज्वार) – 100g
5. Rice (चावल) – 100g

Instructions (निर्देश):

1. Mix all these grains together.
2. Grind them into a fine flour (आटा पिसवा लें).
3. Use this flour to make roti (रोटी बनाएं).

 

These are the only fruits you can eat during summer:

Summer Fruits (गर्मियों के फल):

1. Banana – केला
2. Mulberry – शहतूत
3. Watermelon – तरबूज
4. Muskmelon – खरबूजा
5. Coconut water – नारियल पानी
6. Mango – आम
7. Black Plum (Java Plum) – जामुन
8. Peach – आड़ू
9. Orange – संतरा

If you have any body pain, don’t eat citrus or sour (खट्टा) fruits.

How to Make Salad (सलाद कैसे बनायें)-

1. Onion – प्याज
2. Cucumber – खीरा
3. Carrot – गाजर
4. Kakdi (Armenian Cucumber) – ककड़ी
5. Tomato – टमाटर

Lentils which you can eat (दाल जिसे आप खा सकते हैं)-

1. Moong (मूंग धुली, मूँग छिलका)
2. Masoor (लाल मसूर, काली मसूर)
3. Lobia (लोबिया)
4. White Mutter (सफेद मटर)
5. Chana (चना)
6. Small White Chickpea (छोटा सफेद चना)

You have to use any 2 dals and mix them, then make that dal.(आपको कोई भी 2 दालें लेना हैं और उन्हें मिला कर दाल बनानी है।

Vegetables you can eat in summer.

1. Green Capsicum – हरी शिमला मिर्च
2. Thick Pickled Chili – मोटी वाली अचार वाली मिर्च
3. Bitter Gourd – करेला
4. Drumstick – सहजन की फली
5. Potato – आलू
6. Brinjal (Eggplant) – बैंगन
7. Round Gourd (Apple Gourd) – टिंडा
8. Ridge Gourd – तोरी
9. Bottle Gourd – लौकी
10. Zucchini – जुकीनी
11. Green Pumpkin – हरा पेठा
12. Flat Beans (Sem) – सेम / Cowpea Beans (Hara Lobia) – हरी लोबिया / French Beans – बीन्स (इन तीनों में से कोई एक बनाएं जो उपलब्ध हो।)

You should always mix other vegetables with potatoes; never cook potatoes alone.

🌾 Khichdi | खिचड़ी

Ingredients | सामग्री:

1. Rice – 4 spoons | चावल – 4 चम्मच
2. Green moong dal – 6 spoons | हरी मूंग दाल – 6 चम्मच
3. Any green vegetables (e.g., beans) | कोई भी हरी सब्ज़ियाँ (जैसे बीन्स)
4. Onion, Tomato | प्याज़, टमाटर
5. Black pepper / Green chili | काली मिर्च / हरी मिर्च
6. Turmeric, Sendha salt | हल्दी, सेंधा नमक
7. Cook in mustard oil | सरसों के तेल में पकाएँ

Optional:

You can also add 2 spoons of oats Only if Dheeraj Sir has advised it.
| अगर धीरज सर ने कहा हो तो आप 2 चम्मच ओट्स भी मिला सकते हैं।

Preparation | विधि:

1. Wash rice and dal thoroughly. | चावल और दाल को अच्छी तरह धो लें।
2. Mix both in the mentioned ratio. | दोनों को बताए गए अनुपात में मिलाएं।
3. Add chopped vegetables, onion, tomato, and spices. | कटे हुए सब्ज़ियाँ, प्याज़, टमाटर और मसाले डालें।
4. Add water as required and pressure cook. | ज़रूरत अनुसार पानी डालें और कुकर में पकाएँ

 

Sprouts (स्प्राउट्स)

🌱 Sprouts | स्प्राउट्स

Ingredients | सामग्री:

1. Moong dal (with skin and without skin) मूंग की दोनों दालें (छिलके वाली और बिना छिलके वाली)
2. Masoor dal (with skin and without skin) मसूर की दोनों दालें (छिलके वाली और बिना छिलके वाली)
3. Lobia (black-eyed peas) लोबिया
4. Chana (chickpeas) चना
5. White peas सफेद मटर

Preparation | विधि:

1. Soak all of them in water overnight. (इन सभी को एक रात पहले पानी में भिगो दें।)
2. In the morning, steam or boil them. (अगली सुबह इन्हें स्टीम करें या उबाल लें।)

After that, you can prepare any dish using them — such as sabzi, flour (for dough), chilla, etc.
इसके बाद आप इनसे कोई भी डिश बना सकते हैं — जैसे सब्ज़ी, आटा, चीला आदि।
